We are excited to highlight the achievements of Carlos, a student who joined CSP with a clear goal in mind: to obtain employment. With previous work experience through his adult transition program, Carlos enrolled in our CSP classes to enhance his social skills and improve his knowledge of boundaries in the workplace.
Carlos worked closely with his job developer, Kaitlin, to create a resume, complete applications, and prepare for interviews. Thanks to his hard work and determination, Carlos was soon hired at Amazon Fresh!
Once on the job, Carlos collaborated with a retention specialist to learn his new responsibilities and ensure he maintained professional boundaries with his coworkers. He has thrived in his role.
Carlos continues to make great strides, now working with his job coach and advocating alongside Kaitlin to gradually increase the length of his work hours. With his dedication and commitment, Carlos is on the path toward achieving his long-term goal of securing a full-time position. We’re so proud of Carlos’s progress and look forward to celebrating even more of his successes in the future.
